The Gorman Family
Dr. Sharon has maintained several large family practices for over 20 years, specializing in health and wellness. She has cared for thousands of patients and has performed over half a million adjustments in her career.
Dr. Sharon graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta Georgia in 1984. Her first position as a Chiropractor was in Thomasville Pennsylvania. After working with another Chiropractor for a year she decided to open her first practice in Stroudsburg in June of 1985. In 1987 she opened her second practice in Brodheadsville and in 1989 she opened offices in Marshall’s Creek and Pocono Summit.
In 1990 Dr. Sharon got married to her husband Ron and they began a family. They have four children; Shayna born in 1992, Shelby born in 1993 and twins Seth and Sophie born in 1996.
By late 1996 Dr. Sharon was bored so she opened another office in East Stroudsburg. (Only kidding, she wasn’t bored!) By that time she had sold two of her offices and had replaced herself in her other two offices in order to take maternity leave so she was ready for a new project. In 2005 she sold her other two offices. Currently she has chiropractic offices in East Stroudsburg and Rowell, GA.
Our practice in East Stroudsburg has been growing rapidly over the last few years. We are proud to have Dr. Sandy and Dr. Shaun, two very accomplished doctors. We are ready to take care of the community and are currently accepting new patients. Most new patients are able to be seen the same day they walk in or call for an appointment.
In 2010 Dr. Sharon and her family moved back to Marietta, GA, close to Life University, to provide constant mentorship and guidance to upcoming and new chiropractors. Always serving through chiropractic, and always loving, she opened another chiropractic office in Roswell, GA. Our practice in Roswell is growing rapidly and we are happy to have Dr. Rachael and Dr. Kim, very talented chiropractors, on our team. The Roswell office is very active in the community and always looking for ways to serve. Most often new patients are able to be seen the same day they walk in or call for an appointment.
Dr. Sharon has always been very active in the Chiropractic Community as well as the local community. She has served on the Board of Trustees of Life University for over 10 years. She serves on the Boards of the GA and PA state association, the Chiropractic Fellowship of PA and GA Chiropractic Council. She speaks at many Chiropractic Colleges and at many State Association Seminars. Dr. Sharon is a member of the International Chiropractic Association and founder of Focus and the League of Chiropractic Women, two dynamic organizations dedicated to upholding the integrity and standard of the chiropractic profession. If you ever need to reach Dr. Sharon directly her cell phone number is 570-350-4091.

Dr. Rachael was raised in Allentown, Pa. She received her bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Interdisciplinary Studies from Hodges University in Ft. Myers, Florida and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2009.
As a young child, Dr. Rachael suffered from chronic headaches accompanied by severe stomach problems. None of the doctors that she visited for examination or treatment were able to figure out the cause of her problem. She continued to suffer for years until as a freshman in college when she sought a chiropractor as a last resort. She began to experience much needed relief of her life-long problem. It was at that time that Dr. Rachael decided that she wanted to help others the way that she had been helped...safely, effectively and naturally without drugs!
Dr. Rachael practiced in Pennsylvania for two years and now runs our Roswell location practice. She is married to an upcoming chiropractor and together they are raising a beautiful baby boy, born December 2012. She is dedicated to serving the Roswell community through chiropractic.
She loves what she does, "especially helping other people experience relief and improve their overall health and well being too."
Dr. Kim is from a military family and has lived in/traveled to several locations inside and outside the USA including Scotland, Ireland, Italy, England, Charleston SC, Virginia Beach, Jacksonville Florida and she was even born in Iceland! Her family now lives in Charlotte, NC where she graduated from college with two B.A. degrees from the University of North Carolina. After undergraduate school she quickly began working on her PhD in Family and Child Psychology but was quickly enthralled with the chiropractic lifestyle when she earned a position at a chiropractic office in Asheville, NC as a Chiropractic Assistant. Seeing how people can truly heal from the inside-out without any outside intervention such as unneccesary drugs or surgery, inspired her to become a Chiropractor only a few months after starting work as a C.A.
Dr. Kim graduated from the GA location of Life University in 2013 and is certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) as a Pediatric Chiropractor and Webster Technique practitioner. She has traveled twice to the Dominican Republic in the last few years bringing chiropractic and healthcare to hundreds of families. She is trained in several techniques including: Webster, Thompson, Activator, Cranio-Sacral Balancing, Sacro Occipital (SOT), Network, Pediatrics, Pregnancy and Full-Spine Diversified.
Dr. Kim is very excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Gorman Chiropractic team and to serve her community through chiropractic!
